DGAS plenum

Hi!

Does anyone has fitted this kind of plenum to the carb?
Where to route the tube and what tube diameter?
What air filter at the inlet ?

In my opinion the advantage would be to suck cold air from front of the car.

Pictures would be nice ;-)
Show your engine bay!

cheers!
Michael

I had one briefly on a stroker Cologne (6B). Great for cold air with a remote cone filter, but I think it was a bit restrictive. I actually got better results from a carb mounted k&n.
I sold mine to Dave Mac, to use on a gas conversion.

I fitted one on my Coupe.Ran a flexible inlet hose to a remote filter at the front of the car. I was trying to get cold air in rather the hot stuff over the engine.Seemed OK

I've got one & tried it on my SE6 with no issues.
Only reason its not fitted now is engine bay tidying, so using the standard metal ford filter setup, once everything is done it will be getting refitted.
I like the idea of the remote filter that can draw cooler air rather than hot air from around the engine.

My Cologne was IRO 180bhp and had torque like a Diesel engine. On a standardish engine there’s probably not much in it.
