I've tried doing a search for the thread with the out of place pins in the distributor but failed miserably, obviously not putting the correct words in the search bar. I give up.

There was a thread a while ago about the pins in the cap being set wrong on some caps, I assume they would be Chinese knock offs. Where did you get the caps.

SE6 Girling question

I got my set from QRG, I used the Teflon pistons. Nigel was very helpful and sent me the rubber O rings to part the calipers and some red rubber grease to help with the refit.

According to my calculations there are 2050 ads under the name of JLSPlant . funny thing that, there seems to be a lot of tractors and other plant for sale. I wonder if he's related to Robert.

Hang on and see what Tom is going to do, he had my SE6 with all my spares, he may just sell the one he has. In the mean time maybe a photo of what you have may bring some suggestions from the other guys they are very good at their hobby/obsession :roll: .

I don't think they have a metal backing. I used Sickaflix, I think that's the correct spelling, to fix mine and I think there were screws in mine as well. Tom can clarify that.

Just to clarify, we are talking about the black rubber bumper that goes from one side of the car to the other side that thins out a bit where it goes over the number plate. It's the "insert" quote that confuses me.

I'd get the tracking checked first. This happened to me when the nearside (left side) was toeing out and the offside was correct.

I wonder if the address at the bottom of the ads is the correct address for the seller or is it just an address they have plucked out of thin air and the person actually living at the address is unaware of what is happening involving this address. Is this guy at it again. Same ad style with a different user name https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/274270082988?ul_noapp=true This same ad was up the last time with a different user name. Hundreds of ads covering anything from Hessian sacks :shock: to boats.

Faulty distributor cap.

I bought a Denim flat cap a year ago and didn't realise it was manufactured and located in China, It cost me £3 inclusive of shipping and took three weeks to get here.
