Re: Tom "DemonBlueDays" SE6a

Hi Tom, I may have a spare seatbelt very soon only it's from the nearside, so not used much. I'm not sure if they are sided. I'm waiting on an email from someone I'm buying a few bits from and I emailed this person yesterday to enable me to send a payment. If it's one you want it's yours. Regards Te...

Re: 555 GTE

When a garage did my head gaskets a few years ago it came back with very noisy tappets and missing like a pig. The fitter , and I use the word loosely, said he couldn't set the tappets properly. I took the rocker covers off and set them myself. Sounds great now. this is probably what is wrong with y...

Re: Error on screen messages

Hi all, Just got my feed back. Joe, it's not your fault, it's my setup, it's just that when you and Will Anderson post with something that's not ordinary like your washing machine and lights, in Will's case it could be a photo, I get this problem. The post you've just done is fine so was the last fe...

Found this rough diagram on the Yahoo site, it's not very clear though. I used this to wire my XJS mirrors.

Re: Help me chose a colour please

For what it's worth I prefer the second colour Gun Metal Grey. The photo you have chosen is one I nicked for my "wallpaper" on my desk top, it's a beautiful looking car. Just going to get a clean hanky to wipe my chin.

Re: SE6a Wiper "Wheel Boxes"

If you come across the correct one or a very close fit and you find the correct bezel as in the photo of my crusty one. Let us know please. I've been looking the bezels for some time with no luck.

Better Idea would be too cost doing seat covers in leather. For us lesser mortals to fit ourselves.

spotted on the BBC news

SE6a/b spotted on the BBC news this morning during a news item about Lincolinshire fire and rescue dog training, looks like it's a dark green. It looks a bit of a mess as it's in and on a load of building debris to simulate a disaster zone. Registrar may want to give them a ring for Chassis number. ...

Re: The adventure begins

I've just filled in the bonnet vents that were on my Scimitar. The rain was running through the vents onto the alternator the one side and the power steering pump the other, I eventually fitted a new alternator and a new pump I decided to reglass the vent holes, it's still a work in progress. Regard...
