Both of course would require bolting down to a decent thickness of concrete, most typical prefab type garage's floor slabs wouldn't be suitable to take the bolts required I'd say unless you know the specification and thickness of the concrete used But if one has a low ceiling it would not be diffic...

Agree with Philip. Also, the standard hubs (with/without QRG vented kit) also used castellated nuts and split pin. Effect of a split pin in a nut done up to about 200 ft.lb or more :? :? :? .

Not pry it off, but just enough to get a screwdriver behind it to remove the fixing screws of the baseplate. Use a thin screwdriver!

Yes, very gently pry the mirror and its backplate outwards of housing at top/bottom to allow access to a couple of small screws that fix backplate. One at the top, other from below if my memory is still correct.

So the replacement breather connects from the T piece to the rollover valve... Is there another one, or maybe a drain, because one end of a pipe was cable tied pointing downwards near the diff?
