Anyone near DEESIDE ? to Worcestershire

Hi If Phil was willing to meet up somewhere between Litchfield / Uttoxeter I could get them to the Harborne / quinton side of Birmingham JCT 3 M5 on a Wednesday or Thursday evening as I go that side of town.

But i'm away after this weekend for 10 days.

You could try Holmsley in the new forest just outside Christchurch.
Its a forrestry commission site and isn't too bad.

Re: Scimitar Sabre - Practical Classics Rust in Peace, Reall

I mis read the number that's why it didn't show up on the DVLA records. DOH !!! If i lived closer i'd go and try and find it but i'm too far away to just pop up. If the price was right and i'm not talking the e bay price then i might be interested in saving it and could easily fetch it (Got access t...

Re: Scimitar Sabre - Practical Classics Rust in Peace, Reall

I've got a copy of the magazine and checking on the dvla website for tax or mot the car doesn't show up in their records. It looks in reasonable condition, if I lived closer to Hexham in Northumberland I'd have a look for it. Does anyone live in that area or know the exact location of the car ? Mike...

Re: Future classic - current bargain?

The MGF/ TF are a great little car. Yes they have there problems but if looked after they can be reliable. The MGTF's are all dry suspension, the mgf suspension can be blown up with a modified grease gun the fluid is basically antifreeze. The water pipes aren't too difficult to change but you've got...

Pity it's not this weekend.
I live in Tamworth and have got to go to Winchester on sunday morning with an empty estate car that would take a windscreen no problem at all.

Re: New mirrors & alloy mounts

Hi there i've got some of these bullet mirrors on another fibre glass car (TVR 350i) I have to say that the rear visibility is terrible. You can hide an artic in the blind spot and are useless when trying to reverse. They look good but are crap. I need to find another mirror type to make the car saf...
