History KJX935G SE5 ?

I bought the car in 2012, and it had been sat in a garage, not used for a few years previous, so i guess that's the end of the line, must be on the register now because of the enquires i made when i 1st bought her, but never had any confirmation that the info i submitted was new/old or otherwise......

My midlife GTC

Not added anything here for a while, but thought it might be worth adding something on the trials and tribulations relating to the removal of the bottom pulley on a Cologne with auto box. Since the water pump needs replacing, and since I don't really know the condition of the engine, and also being ...

RSSOC Millennium Rally - Harewood House

I found a couple of photos from the 2000 Harewood event. They are photos of photos but you maybe able to make out some of Reg numbers... 9 car photo: left to right, Black GTC = JJW 736W, red GTC = JKK xxx (could be Jerry Ree’s GTC JKK 880V) Very recent contact update on the black GTC (March '20) Ve...

7HA Salisbury Lsd info wanted

I was the original poster on the tvr Facebook forum  Always the problem when people hide behind pseudonyms and don't sign off with at least a Christian name  As others have said, the compies, and in particular Sabre owners are likely to be the most interested (assuming they have not alre...

7HA Salisbury Lsd info wanted

There was a post on a TVR Facebook group a couple of days ago, a guy asking how rare and how much these were. He has 2. It only caught my attention as it was 7HA. The FB group at the top, and the post at the bottom (ignore the Sagaris ad) There appeared to be a lot of interest from one poster. I gue...

Blower mountings

Dave, I bought these off Amazon.

Used them with the original blowers which I refurbed. Next time I might look at different blowers (as used on boats) which appear easier to fit and don't sit at a slight angle that stresses the bobbins.

Alternative Coupé register ;-)

Last seen in 2016, chassis 0060 (the Coupé 8) ) Belonged to Ray Wright in 1997 when photographed at Sporting Bears meeting with Thrust 2. They could have lined them up red white and blue though couldn't they ? yep, posted by Ray Wright. Still owned by Ray (actually Pam his wife), or at least was th...

A straight 6 Air box / filter question!

Does anyone know if there's any advantage of running the airbox vs pancake style filters? My filters are up for renewal and I've always been tempted to drop the heavy airbox, mainly for aesthetics, but it could also provide better access to the carbs without taking the filters off. Quite a few peop...

Wire Wheels ??

Mark, exercising the grey matter, I seem to recall being told that the Coupe had 72 spoke wire wheels, and that the Sabre had fewer. Can't remember who told me, but might have been Chris Lloyd.

And no, I've not counted them recently
