G130 YCF my first sprint car

Original type have a plate just below the surface of the rubber (about 1-2mm in my experience). This plate holds the male thread that pokes outwards. Add a bit of force and the plate is pulled away from the rubber and it's good night vienna for the engine mount. The type I have has the plate (Probab...

G130 YCF my first sprint car

Their construction is much stronger than the standard rubber ones. Also they are firmer than rubber, despite what the description may claim.

What cars did you see today? (Non-Scimitar)

Ahhh I see. They’re the right way up on my Apple devices. This is a common bug on forums.

Corky's Scimitars & S2K

My entry to Aintree June Sprint in the S2000 has been accepted. There are three other S2K in my group along with a few MX5s. Can’t wait to give it a proper blast on a track.

Brakes done, serviced, new tyres all round :D

Just not sure whether to squeeze it on the trailer or drive there.

Some sort of old European Ford. Similar to a late 60’s Zephyr. In Argostoli today.

I thought Taunus and then discounted it as I thought it was too big. I’m sure you’re right, there was a V6 badge on it. Would it have been an Essex?

My dad's SE6b for sale

Two years of ownership before selling it on sounds perfectly reasonable to me. I’ve had cars for much shorter periods and have nearly always managed to sell them on for more than I paid. They always leave me in a much better state than they arrive though. The increased price is usually because eithe...

I wouldn’t worry about it Phil, I only managed to shave a tenth off and Ben and Darryl went slower. The track was drying though and Ben got his time just under a 93 on his sixth run (fortunately for us, that doesn’t count  ).
