I use Castrol TQF for power steering and automatic gearbox in my SE6. FYI, I use same in my 1971 Zodiac Executive MK4.

1976 SE6 GTE

Found the 50 Amp fuse location. Thank you all for your advise. It was hidden up behind the glove box on the right side. As it happened, the fuse was OK. Traced the problem to a loose connection under the centre consul (near where the window "up-down" switches are located). 50 Amp cable/fuse now well...

1976 SE6 GTE

I have no 12 volts to my door windows. Looking for the 50Amp fuse location. This fuse has white/purple in (source) and green out (to feed the window motors).
So where do I find this 50Amp fuse?

Tow bar fittting

Attached further picture to show what was fitted to my 1976 SE6. The bolts are that long because the tow ball has to miss the number plate. So I have 3" x "2 spacers. The pacers are 3" long and 2" diameter.

Tow bar fittting

Bolt Diameter is 5/8" The shank length is 5" (includes the threaded part) and the thread length is 1 1/2". The holding nuts are attached (by spot weld I recon) to the rear chassis cross member. Sorry, do not know the thread size, but is is "fine" thread.

Sound (from 1974 onward) Essex 3 litre engine when last ran. Does not have to have carb/waterpump or starter motor. Willing to pallet if I am interested.

Now the questions start!

Your accelerator cable coming through the bulkhead is normal.
The windscreen wiper blade spindle holes are round.
Oil pressure pipe fits through a metal plate that has a grommet in it.
The windscreen wiper motor drive goes through a grommet at the bulkhead.
