SE5a axle repairs - needs an overhaul ?

The seal can be replaced with a modern equivalent now days .
There are 2 sizes to consider.
Also make sure there isnt a grove on the flange,otherwise your leak will persist with a new seal

I recall seeing it on a factory tour and a rather special V8 engine if I recall correctly.
Apparently had the power of a large engine but the fuel economy of a small capacity engine

Several connectors came off and colour codes were often not the same as OEM
