Power-tool Batteries

Most such "batteries" are made up of lithium 18650 cells.

Lithium-ion over ni-cad for me any day of the week. Just have more than one battery with the other on charge.

Fixing front of sill

Lifting the tub requires near enough everything else to come off, so it is practically the same as removal save for actually figuring out how you are getting it up a few feet (few helpers usually fine) You could consider cutting and patching the tub if welding is localised, or indeed creative weldin...

1989 SS1 1600 in Netherlands. RHD 28k

Apart from needing a good polish up this looks like a worthwhile one to consider. Clean interior. Unmolested engine bay. Low mileage at 28k. Sabre MK2 rear spoiler. Roll bar. https://www.moyersoen-auctions.com/ords/f?p=2008:76:::::P76_ITEM_ID,P11_AUCTION_ID,P75_PS_CATEG_ID:2394721,17762, 1st inscrip...

SS1 colander

One side catches all the gutter pot holes. The other sits under a battery. The crack is weldable and with suitable strengthening should be fine. The other side does look awfully degraded. However it is your call on repairing it. If the main of the wishbone is sound and of good thickness then that is...

Mikeys / Greenys / Colin Watson v8 Coupe

I have to admit I originally regarded this car as a bit tasteless, or rather not to my taste.

Bit the wheel combination and colour just knocks it right out the park. Love it.

Maybe without the 90's Sabre spoiler. Meh.

551 A race oddity

Now you're in a bigger work space with it you can make everything wider and bits stick out further!

Tis going to look ace when it's finished.

Hosted was perhaps the wrong word. Photos taken normally via the camera (presumably using one software /app) are stored on the phone and accessed / viewed using Google photos app. It was all pre installed. I normally don't like Google having tendrils into my life but I am past the point of caring th...

XRF 976H ex Reliant press car

Worth stating that cheaper alternatives are available for us mere DIY types. Bought a cordless one for about 30 quid (trade) last year and it is a very handy thing indeed. Oh yes, hats off to you for the leap of faith chopping into the shell like that! A testament to the infinite durability and repa...

If that were true then I couldn't do the following. Add files - Choose action- camera Take fresh picture and it works ok. No idea how the internal storage of the phone works, but my gallery / photos on this device are hosted within Google photos, could that be the issue? 1555135488441786578975335448...

Screen shot with a squiggle uploaded fine. But anything taken with camera just sits like that and can't be placed in message.
