Girling Mk2b powerstop parts

Managed to order the valves from ebay.
I fitted a Lockheed type servo but the brake feel was not as good as with the original Girling.

SE5a rebuild/ rolling restoration - 2 questions

I chopped the end off a 1/2" extension and used an open ended spanner to undo the diff plug.
Easier than removing the Watts linkage arm.

Noise after changing timing wheel

Which type of front cover do you have?
I have heard the early type can foul the later type wheel.

SE5 trailing arms and good/new bushes

I was on with swapping my rear axle and one of the trailing arm bushes fell out. On closer inspection I noticed the eye holding the bush had split due to corrosion. A bit worrying really. I was wondering if anyone has a set of four good, solid trailing arms? Hopefully with good bushes or does anyone ...

Free SE5 wheels/Essex V6 block

I'm having a garage clearout so just wondering if anyone wants four 1969 Se5 wheels which would need a real good shotblast? I also have a late type Essex V6 block. It is all cleaned up and painted black, all new core plugs fitted and hardly used -10 main bearings. I had it bored to +30 but the bores ...

Low tension circuit questions

So using a digital multimeter with the engine running is a no no? I will try a timing light for each cylinder and see what I get. The engine runs perfectly when some throttle is applied, but it runs like a pig through town when I am hardly touching it. I even swapped my twin carb set up for a single ...
