SE5 267

Okay, so the fate of this 5 has been decided and it's got to be broken up for spares. There's literally no way that the chassis can see the road again but there's a fair few good parts on it.

If anyone has any specific parts requests, let me know

straight six engine and gearbox

I've already got several so I'd only have it if it was otherwise going to be scrapped.
Cheers

Remanufactured 2 Rod Gearbox Clutch Boots

Ooft, you've got me there BC! I haven't got one to check I'm afraid but I'll have a little Google and see if I can find a photo of the bellhousing in question. If the aperture is similar to the two rod box, then we'll be in with a chance!

The answer to Straight Six bellhousings is sort of! They fit the bellhousing okay but the S6 clutch fork is much larger so you'd just need to take a blade and enlarge the fork aperture in the rubber boot

Porsche Cayman - any experience please

I've been looking into them recently. As long as they've been serviced correctly, they're pretty good. Just remember all the car buyers tips like anything but premium tyres indicates money saved elsewhere too

Ahh, for some reason I thought you had a 20.

The M3 touring should be brilliant, but I've been told a towbar option is unlikely :( the M340i is mega though and still gets impressive mpg

Remanufactured 2 Rod Gearbox Clutch Boots

The first lot of clutch fork boots have arrived. They replace the NLA originals and are of OEM quality; modern OEM, not 60s Ford OEM  Made in Japan, not China and a lot cheaper than NOS ones on eBay which are most likely brittle. £19.99 posted to UK mainland for RSSOC members, £22.50 for non me...

I'd get a BM with the 30 or 35 engine. My 330d is dyno'd at 300bhp, 460 ft/lbs at 1200rpm and still does 64MPG on the motorway. And as anyone at the curbs can testify, it goes well and does a mean drift :)

It really is a cracking car Mikey, well done. The conversion is neat and it goes very well. Nice clutch too

Looking at the forecast, I'm not sure whether to camp, commute or get a room somewhere. The Premier Inn by the power station we used last year want £80 for a night

Is anyone camping?
And what time is the gate being locked on Saturday after testing?
