Electric superchargers are becomjng popular with OEMs, will be common place in 5years, but as 'torque curve fillers'not currently aimed to replace exhauat gas or belt driven 'chargers. The tech is another facet of buidling a race car imho, its no more complicated to the modern generation than balancing triple carbs and setting bob weights in a dizzy is to the old school types. Tech moves forward, GM engines in GTEs, modern quaife diffs etc, whatevr floats your boat 8)

As an example, on the Sabre i have reltively simple launch control. On my best day, i can better it, BUT its a constant, whereas humans arent. For a reliable get away, it works really well, but its not infallible or always beneficial.

Emerald is updated regularly, M3DK was 12 years ago, K3 approx 8yrs ago, K6 3years ago and K6+ is sort of unoffically available now :-) Most of the other ecus are based on 5yr old+ tech, but managing fuel and sparks hasn’t changed, so it's only added features that requires updates, twin fans switchi...

If you go down to plastic, use a primer for bumpers, it acts like a glue between traditional paint or filler and the plastic. Most motor factors stock it in rattle cans, sprays on like a watery opaque lacquer. Thatll mean any paint you add after will stick

Tbf quality race RJs at sensible money are almost always imperial, most re designed around aero industry anyway. As i was making all from scratch inc fasteners, made sense to use best bang for buck, and you get better quality for same price so a no brainer :)
