Opening Side Rear Windows?

Are these any help? Yes the glass is the same. Could only photograph one end at a time due to holding it in place against the 6a!

Fuel pump - new mechanical or electric?

That's the kind of small hole I mentioned - to get to the chokes the fuel has to evaporate from the top of the emulsion tubes, which are pretty small! Alright, when switched off the engine's hot and there will be evaporation, but only for the first hour at most. Even in warm weather I can't see the ...

Window rubber and insert.

I think that screen fitters nowadays can't face the trauma of the stainless strip so fit the basic rubber with the plastic trim.

Fuel pump - new mechanical or electric?

I've always wondered about this 'lack of fuel' question. First, because as far as I know the float chamber isn't open to the air except via very small holes - little or no evaporation. Second, because if I lift the lid from a carb that has been sitting for a few days, the chamber has bags of fuel in...

Can you put his details in the 'Approved suppliers' section, it's always handy to know about these sources.

Change of plan! In spite of appearances there does appear to be a circuit of some kind through the coil so I'll try replacing the transistor and the capacitor on a nothing-to-lose basis. I can read the transistor's number OK but what is this capacitor's value? 47 somethings, but whats? Alex. IMG_189...

I've decided to stop messing and replace the mechanism with a new one. So in the interest of interest I've dug the PCB out of the frame and found a serious scratch/crease across the coils which must be the cause of the bother. I don't think I did this while removing the board, it was pretty well shi...
