And MB14 is one of the cars without the wheel rebates cut in the fromt panel either side of the catch and even with the valve pointing forward I can still get the wheel out without hitting the valve. Dan Mitchell changed his earlier this year and says: "The rubbers at the rear of the exhaust system - as on attached Photograph were originally Ford.

Okay, this is a shot of MB67 which has a standard tray. It soesn't quite show the full shell surrounding the nosecone but I can get that tomorrow in daylight from MB14.

Well, being a forester, it was generally Transits, Escort or Maestro vans with Forestry Commission or latterly Landrovers with the Crown Estate. Sadly I never managed a Scimitar as a company vehicle, might not have been ideal for the terrain! :D Edit - you can just about make out the white paper tax...

I don't know if there is a register for Crown vehicles but I know they are genuine as I used to drive them and it was entertaining when challenged about the lack of a proper tax disc! :D
