Yes it was a diesel one, reconditioned a few years ago and never used, £183 which I thought was a good price
I'll be fitting a gear kit so the ratios and input shaft were not important to me

If you mean the VWP sticker sheet, they are a sensible size to stick onto SE5a rocker switches

You've done well to get the slave cylinder out without damaging it
The pushrod on the master cylinder is adjustable so any adjustment can be done at the pedals which is slightly easier

They are SE5a and bolt to the inner wing

SE5 are the same as Coupe and come through the bulkhead
