MK2 Scimitar Sabre Wheel Centre cap stickers

Does anyone know where I can buy replacements for the Centre Cap stickers in the pic attached. They are made of a kind of flexible rubber and are 60mm in diameter.

1.4 K series Sabre - Historical mystery

Morning everyone May seem daft but I find all this fascinating. Confusing but fascinating. The one thing I can say is that you all agree on one thing and that is, as Mike Littleton strongly pointed out to me when he sent me the info, is that Reliant/Beans records were not great. Generally incomplete...

Yes Will it does. Spent a few bob on the mechanical's along with having it cleaned, polished and ceramic coated it is getting nearer the standard that I thought I had bought. Only a few other jobs to get sorted. Pass on my thanks again to Tom when you see him. Everything has turned out OK.

1.4 K series Sabre - Historical mystery

Nor sure whether I should have posted this in my project thread but as it's only a discussion point and a request for possible help thought this might be the best place to post it. Leave it up to you Jim as to whether you want to move it or not. As I stated in my earlier posts very little paperwork ...

Sabre 1400 just added

Thanks Jim. Makes it easy for me to keep tabs on progress to date and everyone's responses/suggestions should I need to refer to them again. Will contact Nigel.

PS - Hope you had a good time away. Assuming it was a holiday of course. And don't forget about letting me know about the manuals?

1.4 K series Sabre - further update

Clutch now adjusted. No further adjustment can be made before replacement but the pedal now has an acceptable movement. Much easier on the knee and leg stretch. Boot hinges and mounting plate removed and all parts sorted. Hinges working fine now although still believe the struts are possibly too lon...

1.4 K series MK2 Sabre boot lid hinge brackets

Thanks guys. Will pass on info to Leigh and see what we find when everything is stripped out. Hi Josh. Hope all is well with you. If you look in the SS1/SST/Sabre section on the forum you will find an update post on the car which gives info as to work carried out since picking it up from you. Didn't...

1.4 K series MK2 Sabre boot lid hinge brackets

Looking for a pair of boot lid hinge brackets for the Sabre I recently purchased. Pretty sure that these brackets are the same as fitted to all the small sports versions but just in case there are variations have specified the ones I am after. Having sorted out the mechanical's I have now started to...

1.4 K series Sabre update

Hi everyone, Having carried out a thorough inspection of the car I sat down with Leigh of Oxbys three weeks ago to discuss what he had found and to agree a plan to move forward. Since then he has carried out fairly extensive remedial works which have included a major service and other fluid replenis...

Hardtop for MK2 1.4 K series Sabre

Might be so Peter but having tried two other hardtops both of which were SS1's on the 93 Sabre I owned I couldn't get either of them to fit. Wasn't able to secure the front properly as unable to get the lever catches to engage correctly in the top of the screen surround. Odd since the one fitted to ...
