The "Mighty" SE6 - New Year, New Plans

Fan side  Terry understands it better than I, but the light operates the same as it did when the relay was fitted I.e when the fan is triggered by the otter, both fan and light kick in, once the otter is "reset" by the temperature dropping the light and fan then both cut out. Also worth noting...

Retrofit light Roger :D which, until it became non functional I didnt realise how much of a mind easer it actually was! Also it only ever lit up when the fan was actually in use and not freewheeling around thanks to airflow, possibly due to said relay there before but wont know for certain until she...

Sorry Jim, referencing the brooklands books workshop manual again you kindly donated years ago when I had Link. Ran tests along all the fuses and (numbering left to right) the last but one, had blown spectacularly, it must have popped recently as it was still warm in my hand when I picked it out. It...

The fuse numbers in these read left to right so closest to the door.

Thanks for the tip with the holders I'll make sure each one gets a tiny pinch to just make sure they're not "too loose"

Not yet, was on the cards for today to dig out my big one (steady!) And test for continuity. But instead real life, and repairing a very sickly iPhone 6s as a favour to someone sadly took president.... Should the ballast resistor get so hot that I'm teaching the surrounding area new and inventive sw...

Ok now I'm really struggling to understand a few things with Mighty, Swapped the ignition control fuse to a known working one, still no dials in the dashboard, had a look at fusebox wiring and all seems ok, looked for earting points but couldn't see any obvious issues with the ones I did find, and m...

After some head scratching, I need some advice regarding relays. The original is unavailable for me to use as a reference (long story) I need advice to get one to put in, Basically it's going to trigger the light on the dashboard when the otter switch trips to run the cooling fan and then when the f...

I'll give it a look Jim, although did replace the fuses (in the fusebox, and inline ones I found) with new ones I had an annoyed state of mind...but an oddity happened on the way back... Driving back from Terry's help, connected the fan while sat at traffic lights, the dials came back to life, as so...

No indicators, or gauges besides speedo, and oil pressure.... and the fan has had to be temporarily wired in with a manual temporary solution, also, I've lost the horn....

Both myself and Terry are stumped...this is confusing us as to why all have suddenly just...given up

Anyone got any ideas?

The "Mighty" SE6 - New Year, New Plans

The hose that was nudged by the drive belt finally gave way.... Luckily I was outside the house at the time, a quick replacement and reroute as well as replacement of a sickly looking fuel hose later and cooling system was returned to normal service. However: I lost use of the electrically operated ...
