Which period-correct alloys??

Roy ,in your picture of APC , is it the norm to have that amount of balance weights on the front wheels ? Regards Richard . That many balance weights I would say no , but that photo is after I owned the car . The 7x14 Minilites were a new set held in reserve by Don Pither for his race Sabre 92 FRP ...

Renewing driving licence at 70

I could be wrong on this but to retain my HGV licence that I don’t use anyway you have to have a doctors medical every year from 70 yrs onwards . Your normal car licence you have to renew every 3 years with a self assessment . To drive a motorhome over 3.5 tons or anything that heavy past the age of...

You won’t lose C1/C1+E - you just can’t renew online if you need to retain it. You have to retest for OVER 7.5t at age 71.
And a physical medical I think ?

Photograph or Photocopy your old licence before sending it off as it’s not unknown for your new licence to come back with mistakes .

Straightening buckled wheels

Take the wheel off and bolt it back on again 90 dgs out and it will give you a different reading so it’s not enough to worry about.

SE5 Filler neck hose - HELP !!

The early SE5 had a upright filler cap just the first 500 cars . After that they changed to a horizontal cap . The rear panel was reshaped to take the new style cap at this point. The very very early cars had the filler hinged at the bottom edge before the cap was flipped to hinge from the top .

I bet that was someone’s solution for clearing the hoses from a concentric slave kit
Doesn’t the heavy duty 2.8 box have a larger bearing in that position that needs clearance on Bellhousing ?

Wanted Watts linkages

Coupe and SOME SE5 IIRC are 12mm shorter than SE5a. Or so I was told when I supplied some a few years ago and the Buyer reported back that I had sent the wrong ones. I may have some eye bushes left from a batch I sourced many years ago. Is it possible the first 500 SE5 that used the 7HA axle as did...
