What cars did you see today? (Non-Scimitar)

Wasnt one of these given away in a newspaper competition ?

Also they might be wrong about the car being painted with Red triangles , I’ve only seen that on the F1 car paint scheme .

What cars did you see today? (Non-Scimitar)

Not exactly a car but a photo of one . Never seen a photo before of the Ogle design Aston Martin painted in the Graham Team Embassy F1 colours . Nice.

Sabres and the MoT

What would fail the MOT although the car is 100% street legal ? Having a space saver tyre fitted Space Savers aren't 100% street legal at all, they're for emergency use only with specific limitations imposed. The term "space saver" was removed last year and what it would fail on now, is tyres on th...

Sabres and the MoT

Trouble is Some MOT testers have no experience of older cars ,eg my friend left his A30 for MOT and they snapped off the ignition key in the lock as they didn’t realise to start the car you pull out the knob marked S . Also my wife’s Morris 1000 convertible failed because the passenger seat was not ...

Brake master cylinder SE4 or SE5

Looking for a original style large reservoir Girling 7/8 brake master cylinder in new condition Or good used condition that I can rebuild . I have so far tried 2 different make of pattern cylinders and both are rubbish. Just need to get my brakes sorted .

XRF 976H ex Reliant press car

It’s a bit of a eye opener , many people buy a Scimitar as it doesn’t rust , if a reasonable good car like this is suffering problems then there must be many resto projects and barn finds out there that are hiding far worse secrets .
I have no doubts that once done this will be a stunning car ?

starter motor removal

The original style inertia starter is easier to remove , but your car may have been uprated to a pre engaged unit that is bulkier but it’s still not too bad to do .
