The Coronavirus (COVID-19) rules and restrictions are being set by the governments of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland and the Welsh Assembly, and by local or regional authorities as and when required.
The rules are changing in England with relaxations from 08 March 2021 with further progressive relaxations of restrictions to follow, as announced by the Government. Relaxations of the rules will be different in the other countries of the UK – see the below to work out what will apply in your area.
Local Noggin groups should only hold meetings, gatherings, drives-outs, etc. in line with the latest guidance from Governments/Assembly or any local or regional restrictions in force at the time.
It is important for everyone to keep up to date with and understand all regulations and guidance in force in their area at all times.
Whilst shielding advice remains in force it is up to individual members to only attend local Noggin meetings/gatherings if they feel safe to do so.
The rules now vary on a regional basis - see below to work out what applies to your area:
As the country changes the classifications of restriction into localised levels, there are varying approaches by devolved authorities and it has become necessary to evolve guidance on a localised basis.
The best way to keep up to date with your own area is via the Government link:
The FBHVC has published an announcement from the Department for Transport (DfT) that it does not intend to amend UK law to widen the requirement for insurance of motor vehicles to include activities on private land, which could have resulted from the decision of the European Court of Justice in respect of the 'Vnuk' case.
See the announcement and other FBHVC News, which has been published on theFBHVC Newspage.
