CLASSIC CAR INSURANCE FOR YOUNG DRIVERS
At Footman James we believe that the passion for classics should be encouraged in the younger generation, that’s why back in 2014 we created an insurance proposition for young enthusiasts.
This policy has enabled many young classic owners, to get out and about on the open road and enjoy their classic. The innovative scheme means that young drivers who may have previously struggled to obtain insurance for their pride and joy are now able to do so, subject to a range of qualifying criteria.
Young enthusiast qualifying criteria for 18-24 year olds includes:
* The car must be over 20 years of age;
* The owner must limit their mileage to either 2000 or 3000 miles per year. Vehicles over 30 years of age, a maximum of 5000 miles;
* Young drivers need to have held full UK licence for a minimum of 12 months;
* Maximum ABI group 20.

All FJ+ options can be added to your cover at anytime (certain restrictions may apply).
