Derbyshire/Staffs Noggin
The Derbyshire/Staffs Noggin normally meets at The Three Horseshoes, Long Lane Village, near Ashbourne, Derbyshire, DE6 5BJ
The normal meeting day is the 2nd Tuesday of each month and normally starts at 7:30 pm (1930)

Welcome to the Derbyshire/Staffs Noggin
We are a small but faithful band of owners left over from meetings in the last Century when between 30 and 50 members met at the Spread Eagle in Rolleston on Dove. Now there are only about 6 of us left, but we still meet up and enjoy a pint together once a month accompanied by talk about our cars and other matters. Our members include a retired Consultant Anaesthetist, a former garage owner and Mechanic, a retired Rolls Royce Draughtsman, a retired Rolls Royce Technical Fditor (who used to produce aero engine manuals), an outstanding Primary School Teacher and a humble Classical Musician. We also have a few friends who attend occasionally, including a professional windscreen fitter, a former Reliant Production Manager and a retired school teacher who comes over from Lichfield to join us.
Between us we we own two Sabre 6, two Coupé, three SE5/5a and an SE6, so we have a bit of experience with cars and can usually sort most things out. One of the Sabres has an uprated engine; one of the Coupés features a Jaguar engine, Gearbox and IRS; one of the SE5 cars has a Rover V8 conversion. So there is usually plenty to talk about and we help each other out with our restorations, parts, maintenance, etc.
As well as cars we are happy to talk about anything else that takes your fancy and we welcome anyone who wants to come along.
We also meet up on the 4th Tuesday of the month; same time and place, just less people.
