Scimitar GTC the classiest car to own

Post by Rob Jones » Mon Jan 15, 2018 4:43 pm

Hello all,
Just been looking at replacing the puddle lights in the doors, and they are off Jaguar, Aston Martin, Ferrari.
Front door speaker grilles Aston Martin
You just cant knock the quality, no wonder they where so expensive when new, not just a car but a thoroughbred :D :D

A grille in the door card doesn't make a car, any more than a bulb or a tyre, no more so does it cheapen it. What makes a car is the overall design, and much of that is down to the bodyshell. You only have to look at the design pedigree of the GTE designer to see your thread title is fully justified. The Princess Royal didn't choose a Scimitar because it had fancy puddle lights...

I was told only this week by a chap that the Porsche Cayenne 4by is one of the ugliest cars ever made (a view with which I fully concour, as it happens, but he didn't know that). He told me he was sure of his view, because he had bought one - and it wasn't for its looks.
