I'm not, itll be done when it's done. I was chatting with Brian I my garage the other night and it sort of became clear I want the car to be right, or at least the issues and compromises sorted with it before it gets used properly. It has loads of power but the handling is lacking, the weights wrong, the wiring needs ripping out and doing again etc and my current interest, the front end, re-doing, then I'd be happier

Thats the problem, Batty was far more effective than I ever realised, even with 100hp more most venues I cant get near Batmobiles times

Hi Craig,
So glad to hear you’ve not thrown the towel in on the Sabre and sticking around the Scimitar scene!
Catch up at Curbs and in the meantime, ponder your next move in sorting the car out to your satisfaction.
(If I was a little closer, I’d offer some motivational help in the form of holding a few spanners for you, making the coffee and polishing stuff, but nearly 3 hours is just a little too far away....)
Good luck matey!

Haha, no. Generally others have nicked my ideas, so nice to have your car to pinch ideas offBigBobPilot wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2019 1:11 pmPresumably being inspired by how long it's taking me to build!

Thanks to Ben Gough and Brian Crouch I've been doing a little tinkering on the Sabre
New servo delete brake bias box
Some shorter front shock eyelets
Also removed boot floor, mocked up some front suspension mods and stripped another gearbox with a view to rebuilding.
Also got some new rear trailing arms off Darryl to convert to rosejoints for toe adjustments like Batmobile

Good to read you’re not letting cobwebs form again
With BG and BC I suspect there’s enough urine extraction going on but if you need more abuse, just shout

Bless you Phil, but you have the fluid extraction flow theory the wrong way around...

The brake bias box is a really nice looking bit of kit!
I'm glad you're getting back on with the car.
