What cars did you see today? (Non-Scimitar)
About 11.00 this morning - Not quite a "car" I know but it brought back so many memories of early primary school trips that I had to post it (moderators can always remove it if need be):
SOLD: 1978 SE6a Auto.
1997 Ducati 900SS - Last carb. model.
SOLD: 1960 BSA Bantam D7 - more "fun" than the Ducati.
1998 Honda CG125 - great in slow traffic.
1981 Suzuki SB200 2-stroke twin - undergoing rebuild.
Gallery Project

Saw this at the lights yesterday - with a pickup rear!
Not sure if it had broken down or he was just checking the ton of logs that were in the back?

Also saw a TR6 and what I think was a Lancia 2000 in Ilchester, a series 1 Bristol 411 near Street and a Citroen BX on the M5 northbound.

Not exactly a car but a photo of one . Never seen a photo before of the Ogle design Aston Martin painted in the Graham Team Embassy F1 colours . Nice.

That’s the second car - it says on the AM page that it was white with red triangles? Sounds like it may have had a few different coats
Originally ”painted in the same dark blue and gold ‘Sotheby’ colours. The car toured the country to promote the brand but ‘Sotheby’ Cigarettes failed to take off and by the following year, the car was repainted in the Imperial Tobacco ‘Embassy’ cigarette brand colours of white with a logo of red triangles.”

Wasnt one of these given away in a newspaper competition ?
Also they might be wrong about the car being painted with Red triangles , I’ve only seen that on the F1 car paint scheme .

Presumably they called the brand "Sotheby" as they hoped to sell lots.....
