I got Elvis`s books for crimbo, very interesting.
Didn't realise just how self sufficient Reliant were, that`s until they Assembled the SS1.
Shot themselves in the foot I think.

Somewhere else on the Forum some time ago, I mentioned how the fast idle cam in Kirsty's carb had gone AWOL and I was 'inventing' a manual arrangement. Well, this went to about 60% completion and I then lost interest in working in a freezing garage, plus other family commitments intruded quite a bit.
Anyway, last week my bank manager (HI) told me that I could afford to by-pass any remaining hassle, so here's what arrived in the post today from FRC.
When the weather gets a little warmer, I'll see what I can do to mess this up..............

Well not by post but still nice!
My old compressor (14 yrs) was playing up so bought a bigger and quieter model that just fits in the allocated space, Quieter, yes much, but one can still hear it throughout the whole house! Hoping Swmbo'll get used to it.
Although labelled Roda it's a Fiac.

How much for a set of SS pistons and a new seal kit Mark- I have the callipers ( stored somewhere in the garage ) that I took off when I fitted your ventilated disc kit. Photo taken when it was tidy.

Peter I see all your spanners are neatly stowed
but you really should stow the oily weight-lifting kit on it's side not vertically!

are you going to use those head gaskets ?
Consensus is use FoMoCo ( I have several old stock ) or Reinz - who supplied Ford originally.
