Restoring a coupé SE4a under the bonnet and would be interested to see how it should look in terms of component placement. Modified would also be interesting.

Thanks all, most useful. This engine bay is largely original so keen to see where the alternator regulator and fusebox is as standard. The wiring has been bodged a bit on this one and I have to sort it out!

Most Coupés now have alternators with internal regulators - originally mine had a external regulator where the lumenition module now resides.

These photos from my SE4a before dismantling. Wiring loom not all original, but I think placement of components is. Both are of near side. Top photo shows relays etc. As far as I can work out from wiring colours (the electrics were dead) the relays from left are headlamp flash and horn on bulkhead shelf, ignition on front of bulkhead, and heated rear window on side behind wiper motor. Instrument voltage stabilizer is just out of sight on side of tunnel below and slightly behind headlamp flasher relay. Bottom photo shows original fuse box
