Lligwy bay Anglesey car show.
So I was sat having an ice cream at the cafe on the bay and was chatting to the lady who runs the place.
She is well into promoting the place and up for events etc on the land around the cafe. She knows I have special cars so we got on to the topic of a car show.
I know it's out of the way for most but there are plenty of camp sites cottages lodges etc that are not far away.
So who would be up for it? Obviously it's better if we can get different marks so please ask your friends etc, no dates at the moment but this would depend on if there was interest.

Re: Lligwy bay Anglesey sat show.
On top of the above there is loads to do on the island from ty croes to icecream, castles to disused copper mines and harbours.
A few pics of the area (the one with my little man flying off the end of a ramp is the car park/ over night camping location if you are in a camper)

Re: Lligwy bay Anglesey car show.
It's a hell of a long way from anywhere and can be absolutely bleak if the weather's bad (you did ask
)
How about making it the same day as the SSSC weekend next year?

Nice idea Greeny, but as Jim says , it's an awful long way from midday people and we struggle to even get attendees to the central events.
Be great to have many more regional events though and I'd always be in support of that. The six hour journey from yesterday is fresh in my mind though!

Re: Lligwy bay Anglesey car show.
Totally agree it can be grim when the weather is bad.
It wasn't so much of a scimi event but an all cars thing, with the opportunity to make a weekend out of it. But obviously with my main haunt being here, it's first port of call for opinion.

Re: Lligwy bay Anglesey car show.
Have you dropped a line to the North Wales Classic Car Club to see if they are interested? I'll come along as basically I'm 10 minutes away. Maybe even an informal meet?

I haven't (no contact) but swmbo has book face so she will be posting on the anglesey pages. However if you have an easer contact then please!!
Would be good to see you there. Keep meaning to get in contact but my phone crashed and i lost a load of numbers.
I have been to the Amlwich show and whilst it was nice it was a little bland. Cheryl who runs/owns the cafe at the beach is up for it with the possibility of music/beer/food/ along with the views in the area and if using it as an excuse for the weekend away there is the rest of the island to see.

That's the web site link, I'm not a member but have seen then at various shows. They are always at Hemblas Vintage Rally which is very soon. Interestingly I think they started as a Rover club but opened up to all makes to boost club membership, probably a sensible move in these parts.
