I was looking at asking Emmas stepdad to make me one, is there nothing inside them?
Just a plain bit of tubing...are you thinking of modern injection fuel tanks? They use the return line to draw fuel into a "pot", but this may still not be enough when at full throttle through a long corner at full boost...

This is a production swirl pot...

- but you're only talking a few 100 ml's of fuel...

Outlet from the LP pump goes about 40mm from the top of the swirl pot. Existing return line - disconnect from the tank and attach about 20mm from the top of the pot. Pipe out of the top of the pot back to the orignal return to the tank.
Ah, I getcha now :D
Didn't realise you have to run a second pump. Is there any pump you'd recommend for LP?
Cheers, Raz :D

I mentioned the Facet Red Top Competition one earlier - the one they recommend for "over 200bhp"...first google search showed this one cheaper than I paid about 4 years ago...

any pump will act as a lift pump really, it doesnt need to be a fuel injection pump or even that highly rated as it only has to keep the swirl pot filled.
think PPC mag did an article on building your own swirl pot iirc but a while ago. may be worth searching on their site for the article.

Pete S has the set up for sale if you need it Raz :)
