Subaru and Suzuki pull out of WRC

Post by CNHSS1 » Tue Dec 16, 2008 12:12 pm

not surprised at Suzuki but thought Subaru were part and parcel of the WRC
wonder what Prodrive will do now? maybe buy Honda F1 programme?

at this rate with 'top flight' motorsport disappearing at an alarming rate, we could see the SSSC being approached by Jenson Button and Petter Solberg for a drive

they are in a bit of trouble...the Christopher Neil Dealership that service the Legacy have stopped selling Subaru but carried on selling Lotus.
They said 'off the the record' that the Lotus was still selling dispite the credit crunch but after the introduction of the Tribeca (which was a flop) the new Imprezza was a disaster! :(
'inside it, it's back to the best it ever was, but outside it's pig ugly and no one wants them! It doesn't matter how good it is to drive or how many WRC it wins they wont sell.

I do hope that's not some sort of dig at the SS1 Roger...

Certainly not! :)

Having been defending the SS1 a few days ago I was revelling in the irony!

Schadenfreude, as they say in Germany! :D :D

cheers,
