facebook

Post by ritterfender » Tue Dec 27, 2016 10:16 pm

hi,
i`m not exactly a whizz with computers and have not been able to figure out why i can`t access the rssoc facebook page on my computer but have no such problem on my phone using the same link buttons on the top of the forum page.i can only see the header and the photos of for sale items but no posting or comment are visible. i`m using google chrome and don`t have a problem on anything else.i don`t have a facebook account but it works on my phone using wi-fi or away from home.
what am i doing wrong -- it`s bound to be something simple !
thanks
geoff

it is because you're not logged into FB, I've just done the same as yourself and got the same results, logging in cured it, you will need a FB account to see the RSSOC pages and will need to join to post on them

I have the same problem, clicking on the FB link at the top of the page I could read the public group, now the discussion part is greyed out on my Mac/ipad but I can still access it on my iPhone. Also I don't have a FB account.

As non FB member viewer you should be seeing this, once you log into FB then all is shown, sorry that's just the way FB works I'm afraid

Not able to get it today so not going to try again. I view facebook as a monstrous carbuncle because of the problems and arguments it seems to cause in general .Iwill not be joining it.
