Probably adware has found its way into your browser - installed anything lately?

Could well be adware - try downloading Malwarebytes and Spybot Search & Destroy, (both have free versions) and running a scan to see what it picks up. Also worth checking that your browser has pop-up blocking.

The cookies at the bottom are probably only a problem from a privacy perspective, but the top three look more dodgy (Delta.Toolbar, W3i.IQ5.fraud, and Win32.Downloader.gen) - a quick google for them suggests they do things like popping-up unwanted extra advertising windows. Hopefully, Spybot will be able to remove them.

Well having spent most of the morning fighting the PC, I asked Google what the hell Woozgo is and found its a bi product from APPLE, what a Saga, perculier thing is it only loads when clicking the FORUM Button on the Scimitar site, so the Scimitar page opens and another page also opens with this wooozgo, so do I delete all my Apple stuff? I only have an iphone but do not use Apple services, in the ratings of all that is wrong in this world this would not get onto the back page but its extremely annoying!!

Forget the above, Woozgo is a pain in the botty French site, I do not know how to get rid of :help:

Anything you don't recognise when you look in the "Add/Remove Programs"? That's where I would start..

If it's a recent issue, you can always do a system restore to what ever it was a week ago etc? Basically you can't tell your computer to "go back in time" to a previous point when you had no issues. A lot of faff, but if you can't find any other way to resolve the issue it's always an option :)

- Student loan funded light restoration.

If nice guys finish last, then that's alright; at least my conscience will be clear at the end.

Hi Phil thank you for sticking with me on this, I am not good with P/C's but struggle on, I do believe I have found the culprit, we had to change the SFR Router (French internet phone Provider) and it comes with this dam thing in it, we have wondered why the internet has been slower than DyNo Dial up, (Normally not quick) and the following snip courtesy of Google I believe explains, failing that I am going Senile.
