Bodmin trial 6 November 2016

Post by stevesims » Fri Nov 04, 2016 6:41 pm

We are entered in the 69th Bodmin trial, four other SS1's also entered in our class.
Free to spectate if you fancy watching two seater sports cars tackle sections the 4x4 community would think twice about driving.
Start time 0930 Cardingham Woods Bodmin.
Also, I have been asked to write up the trial for "Restart" the Association of Classic Trials Club (ACTC) official magazine.
So I will be bigging up Reliants small sports as a capable and formidable trials car.
It would be nice to see the RSSOC become affiliated to the ACTC as well as its current affiliation to the MSA.

Steve
What's involved with affiliation?

If you think it's worth looking at, get the details :-)

Any details on the 4 SS1s? I heard a rumour from a friend that trials motorbikes that one of the SS1 trial cars is duratec powered, is this true?

Affiliation means that the owners club RSSOC would receive invites from other ACTC affiliated clubs to enter trials.
The regulations require the entrant to be a member of a ACTC club.I am a member of the MCC (The motorcycling club) which is a trailing club for cars and bikes.
If the RSSOC were to become affiliated it could lead to more trailing SS1 owners joining the RSSOC.

Two of the SS1's entered on Sunday are Duratec power cars.
