Former serial Scim owner now wanting to compete!

Post by fuego1971 » Sun May 27, 2018 10:03 pm

After about a decade of not having a Scimitar (basically I've been a Porsche person) I'm now looking for a competition Scimitar. I was at Prescott yesterday and the hillclimbing bug bit really hard!

I'm looking for a GTE that's been built to sprint. I've had 5s, 6s and an SS1 in the past, and although the little one was the best handling car I think I've ever owned, I really want big and shouty. I think it's a second childhood thing. Really looking for something road-legal, as I'm going to sell the current Porsche as part of the 'plan.' But, I'll consider anything, as I imagine it's not a big market :D

I haven't competed for decades, so I'll basically be starting again, but I used to race scary stuff on ovals - so I'm hoping I haven't forgotten what to do!

Thanks all!

Cheers, but really looking for a compie car rather than a standard. One with mechanical development plus cage/safety kit.

Ta!
