You may have noticed we now have our Club test day on 4th April. You would be welcome with or without your car!. Either way a good opportunity to get a feel for competition and track

Thank you all for the advice and a thank you Phil for the offer of the rear interior panels. As I've got one in the garage I'm sure I must have the other...I think it came with the two in the rear.

I need a dashboard and if I have to follow the letter of the law then a centre console, better safe than sorry.

I've seen the test day being promoted so I'm going to go along and have a watch and a chat.

Got a bit of mojo back now so I've been getting stuck into working on it and enjoying.

Thanks for the advice.

Alex

Try a wanted advert for the dash and centre console? It doesn't need to be pretty - just functional - someone may have recently swapped theirs out for a better one and have the old (usually cracked) one gathering dust in the garage.

Never try and argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you based on experience.

I've got one in the wanted for the dash so i'll do one for the centre console.

Cheers Phil

Test day is booked for 4th April 2017 :)

I took the centre console out of my road going car, gets in the way and there's carpet underneath so I just fitted a gaitor straight to the tunnel. Nothing was ever said and I never even considered it could be an issue.

There's a wealth of valuable and insightful knowledge from all so thank you for that. I've been getting some mojo back this week on the car and spent a good few hours on her.

I wish you all a merry Christmas and thanks for all your feedback.

My advice would be to arrive say 11am and watch the cars for a while. We break for an hour for lunch which will be a good time to chat to compies and take a closer look at the cars and of course blag your way into a passenger seat or two for a few hot laps :)

See you next year :!:
