The regs are available on the website:

http://www.gurstondown.org/drivers.htm

I'm not going to attach the entry forms here, because it's possible to enter electronically via the link above (which I would recommend).

Entries don't open until the 19th July as Steve said above.

Richard Carter

Disappointing turnout after the showing we've managed for this weekend over the past few years.

Steve,

You are welcome to have a go in mine at Prescott ( the earliest event this is practical), if you can fit! Seat and belts and fixed for my height.

Cheers Nick

I dont trust myself at Prescott - I dont enjoy semi circle - and would hate to slip off in an infamiliar car.

Now some where more open or familiar would be tempting

Cheers
Steve

never let it be said that our SSSC competitors dont suffer for their art.
Took them ages to find low-carb, hi-energy Red Bull flavoured Ice creams....

I've lost my black book  whch had Sunday's times in it - I can remember my own but not accurately the others- Nick - are you able to post please :?:

Good vid Craig - good to see you there together with family. Also in the paddock were Shaun Byrne and Ted Howells - good to talk to you both and thanks for supporting the SSSC boys!!

Richard has kindly agreed to do the Gurston write up for Slice :D

Further to my last - jsut found the results here: http://www.tsl-timing.com/sprint/2010/103684.pdf

Trevor 37.82
Nick 40.07
Richard 40.61

Trevor and Richard both got progressively quicker through the day - Richard's first time at Gurston making his time all the more remarkable and leaving him a very happy chappie. Nick was well into the 39s in practice and putting on the pressure for a 38 but it just didn't hook up for him in the afternoon. Remains a very credible time in a car that is heavier and less powerful than the others present.

Sun shone all day 8)

I see you managed to capture my fat side.

Frustrating day: as Trevor said, I ran a 39.3 in second practice, and had Hollow and Karousel nicely covered, but in the afternoon just couldn't make the top half work: with little power I need to carry so much speed around Ashes that there is just too narrow a 'window' for someone as hamfisted as me.

The older I get the faster I was.
