Excellent result! Gurston very much a power track I think and the car now has the power to suit by the look of it.

Shall be watching with great interest as to how Nick runs in the SS1 against the rest of CM this season.

Thanks guys, I’m very pleased with the result. Worth noting that josh had a lot of 24s in CM last year, so it’s not unprecedented.

There was a tight battle in the class all weekend, some really fast car and driver combos!

The in car from my best run on Sunday.

I guess the question is how much faster did you need to go to take the 25 :?: and is that achievable :?:

One for Corky as I reckon he will have a CM version of the spreadsheet

edit

I'll answer my own question; Nick would have needed a 36.66 both days to take the 25 based on CM results issued and the handicap factors listed

Seems plausible, albeit not easy - but its not meant to be! When you look at the people leading CM they are well developed, well setup, and well driven cars. I only really got into the swing of it on Sunday and there is definitely room for improvement; so I'd say there scope to close that gap.

Bear in mind though - I'm not really in CM to win it though, that was never the intention. Its some where I can play. A good result overall is a bonus, as is the CM Scimitar class; the aim is the SSSC championship and breaking my own PBs. That doesn't mean I'm not going to try to do as well as I can in CM though!

Goodwoods next - a circuit I know well but I've never managed to be particularly competitive at; my best CM score there is 21.66pts. I'm hoping I can improve on that if I manage to get the 3.62 diff fitted in time (and drive the wheels off it   )

Presumably Brighton & Hove MC on the 11th May? It's on my calendar, so I should be there to cheer you on!
