Steve, you knocked over the "Motorsport can be Dangerous" sign. How were the following compies going to know? At least the marshals didn't hace far to go either!

Yep agree with the others, as long as the suspension mounts are in the right place, and the structure isn't compromised, then a little tweak in the chassis is not an issue.

Well done Josh.

Quickest run above. I struggled with the front brakes locking all weekend so I adjusted the bias at lunchtime today just before this run. Clearly paid off as there was more to come too. Tried a bit too hard on the last run and went sideways a lot to achieve a 57.1.

And yes, I forgot to do one of the HANS clips
That was an awesome run Josh.We were all watching the timing screens and willing you on. Congrats once again on a new record. :hurrah: :hurrah: :hurrah:

I hadn't spotted that  . Oh! the irony :w

Thanks for the heads up. I'm a bit OCD with these things and didn't want to weaken anything. But I'm going to give it a go. I've stripped the rear trailing arm off and given it a good dose of looking at. I'm thinking if the rear wheels lines up with the fronts when I've replaced all the bits, I'll still run it. Quite a lot to do though, so Curbs is probably still out for it.

It may be fixable then....... :D :D :D :D :D

Thanks Craig and Phil, I'm sure you're right. A bit jigging or liberal use of hydraulics will get it sorted.

I've just done the spreadsheet, and if it can't be fixed WHAT A SWANSONG :hurrah:

Sorry Nick.......

Sat :-

Andy K 15.84
Phil H 17.80
Nick K 23.89
Steve C 25.00

Sun :-

Nick K 24.98
Steve C 25.00

You couldn't put a cigarette paper between us on Sunday. Great battle Nick, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure where CM will put us with the driver weight added
I’m pleased with that!!!

That was so close - made for one of the best days competition I’ve had in ages.

Happy to help next week when I'm back from Ireland if it gets you to Curbs

Reminder to self - pick an event Corky and Nick don’t go to...

In all seriousness, well done to both Corky and Nick - and Josh for claiming a Batmobile record! Few more to go at..

Never try and argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you based on experience.

Blimey Steve bad luck mate. I’m on holiday this week sunny Cornwall until Sunday but happy to lend a hand as I’m on holiday next week also let me know if you need a lift with anything I’m sure a couple of days in the garage could see you and the ss1 at Curborough.

I can get hold of some short hydraulic rams also if needed
