We are all fairly close together in the paddock and right in the centre of things. The weather forecast is not brilliant with some chance of rain but things can change! Jim are you bringing a shelter or shall I bring the club one?

I’m not back in UK until late Friday Peter, so can’t guarantee I’ll remember the gazebo.

Fantastic :D

But after a boys week out in Northern Europe, I need sleep more than writing a report :D

I’m sure Peter will oblige :P

Scratch times - my car isn’t a 2L as per my entry form after another engine change to 1800 Zetec (nor is it a Ti as editor Terry assumed in Slice this month :D )

I think I came 8th in CM on handicap (out of 26 cars), which I’m really happy with as I had to set it up after each practice run having missed practice at Curbs this year.

57.75 and 57.09 last year - took half a second off that on my first practice this year and 1.7 seconds better on my best run.

Car has much better torque and I now need to re-learn how to drive it as I just spin the wheels if I put my foot flat too early as I could with the CVH.

I’ll put those times through the spreadsheet later, but it looks to me like a 25 to Jim.

I set myself an aim of breaking 60 seconds - got very close as the figures say above.

All new to me, so whilst I sort of knew Curborough at the test day, learning a new track I had never even seen before in a car I’m still getting used to and refining, it was a good day for me. Lots of lessons learnt though!
