That's great Nick. Be interesting to see your car and to see how it compares to our DET.

Yup - really looking forward to it. The cars going well but I think Josh beat me by 3 seconds on handicap last year - which is a big ask!

Maybe do a bit of car swapping with Josh at the test on Saturday :?: I won't drive yours after my brush with the barriers at the pre-season test

Can't remember if you've driven the DET :?:

Which class do I enter? I normally run R2 but it’s now described as road going, and I don’t have an MOT. But I’m not libre either.

‘R1 Reliant Cars ( Roadgoing Production )
R2 Reliant Cars ( Roadgoing Modified )
R3 Reliant Cars ( Sports Libre )‘

I think that's a wording mistake which I never noticed.

I would enter R2 but PM Peter Smith to contact the organisers to make them aware

Rather unhelpfully HDLCC have made the following comment.
"Also entries have been made and accepted in accordance with these Regulations and the Regulations can not now be changed."

I suggest you enter class R2.
If this is picked up on the day you will have to change class but we as a club can still view your entry and this class as Modified Production.

Does that make sense?

Not really no Peter....you need an A licence to run in Libre. Team Oakes don't have one. We would have to run in CM class I guess if they pick it up and ask for MOT cert, insurance and road tax.

Of course supplementary regs can be changed

I’m sure many of us saw the MG Car Clubs Wiscombe regs this year - where Class 7 – MG Car Club Speed Championship was omitted from the published Supplementary Regulations as an invited Club :D

It’s a simple typo and just needs an email to all entrants copied to the MSA.
