There was a faster one??
Marginally, but that's what they call consistancy.

I use the term "faster" in the relative sense of course as lets face it, the rate of acceleration on my car appears glacial.

As for all these excuses, typical bloomin' racing drivers you lot. But if we are going for it. The tyres that were on the font of mine are from 2013 and have done 20 events, two auto tests and a trackday plus road use for a total of some 15k miles or more. My rear tyres were made a mere few weeks ago and fitted on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately Kwikfit don't stock a 195/45R14 so I'm back up to 185/60R14 giving a knock on effect on what little acceleration I have!

But here you go, my "fastest" run at 75.09 seconds

Loving the commitment 8)

Needs some low pro rubber and a diff front ARB as the steering looks a little wooly but you manage to carry plenty of corner speed 8)

Previous comments about knackered front tyres may be attributing to the wooly steering..

I wonder if the slightly higher gearing saved you a gearchange between molehill and fradly?

It just shows how accurate the handicap system is, and how competitive you can be with a lower powered car. There's been a cigarette paper between us all season.

Payback for pipping you at Loton on a recount!

It's been darned close all season between us and I'm excited to see the current standings and how it will turn out as to whom takes 2nd place after wonder boy in the championship this year.

You need to get to an event that Josh isn't at, his scratch times are killing our scores

Guys,

I have Steve with 163.16 and RR at 162.3. You both have done 7 events so would need to drop a lowest score to improve. You both have lowest scores at about 22 pts.

Getting late to enter..............

I'd be eyeing up Debden or Castle Combe, but difficult to commit to anything with house moving plans still up in the air at present. Suppose I shoudl have given Shelsley a thought seeing as I didn't get to do it last year, although most certainly too late and not a hill in my 1300's favour I'm told!
