As soon as the dust had settled at Wiscombe and they knew I was OK, the offers of help came thick and fast. Once at Gurston and they knew the car was OK to run, then the p**s taking started in ernest
I had assumed it was JGLs work, but no. Thanked Mikey and still not the culprit. Twas our newest recruit, Phil 'Rasharkin Reliant' Andrew, take a bow mate, very witty, really appealed to my sense of humour  (preceeding with choice or weird/dark/odd as required)

Glad it raised a smile and left you a bit perplexed of only briefly.
you lot were off for a greasy breakfast, so i got busy with the preschool level arts and crafts.

I had joked to Kristine yesterday after you posted you were home late that "i hope he didn't have another tyre blow out on the trailer" little did i know how right i was!

a challenging weekend for you all round, but nothing you can't take in your stride I'm sure.

FFS don't pick up any hammers for a good while.
A. you'll probably break something in anger.
B. With your run of luck it will probably be a bone.

Great write up - can't believe you didn't call for a spare trailer tyre

Jim
I agonised whether to ring you mate, but concluded the likelihood of you having a trailer with same tyre size or bolt pattern was slim. Was sooooo tired just wanted home and my bed and was willing those tyres to hold out.
New heavy duty tyres ordered today so fingers crossed it won't happen again.

Good to know you are still 'The Man' when it comes to rescuing scimitar guys in trouble 8) very much appreciated mate 8)

Phil

I was mighty pi55ed off at my last run at Gurston as I'd done enough to pull it out the bag and m8ssing the gears threw it away. Never even got out the car at the top of the hill, was fuming, but was fine by the return.
