Steve's got all the times. But I'm confident that a certain 17 year old will be happy.

I'm sure Steve will post the correct scores in a bit, but before he does there a few racing driving excuses on their way

It was looking like the fog and rain was here for the day. We were all pushing as hard as we could and Trevor had a proper bum clenching spin at over 100mph at Church corner, so he decided enough was enough and loaded up the trailer. It looked like a wise move at the time.
James was struggling a bit with a misfire (I think) or something similar, but when it was at full chat it looked and sounded like jet fighter. You saw the car before you heard it
The problem I had yesterday with the popping and banging at high revs got much worse today in the dry. I had bugger all power above 5000 rpm, and had to throttle back to accelerate. It felt bizarre. I could carry lots of speed into the corners but when I tried to power out there was nothing there but a few loud pops and bangs. Mega mega frustrating, but hey ho. Anyhow, I did manage to knock over a second off last year's time (I don't know how), but Josh was quicker. He was definitely channeling the force today :D

I'll add something to my DET thread in the hope that someone can help me fix my car :(

Glad you all survived! Well done Josh, showed us oldies how it's done 8)

TBH about half way home I began to regret going but was hacked off with myself and in any case the organisers had enough to to without me spinning about like a fairy

See you all at Aintree.

I made up a bracket and attached a second camera to the Sabre Bumper.....pleased with the result :D

I ran first then Josh. This was final run of the day and my quickest; Josh was very slightly slower than his fastest on this run

Just uploaded 2 videos. First one of myself I think doing a 108 and Josh doing a 104.

Interesting to see where josh makes up his time...start my video playing and click play on Josh's when mine is a t 22 seconds to start runs at the same time

Need to fire up laptop cant view side by side on my phone. Bith vids look good, Steve you turn in a tad too soon which means you cant get on the gas as early as Josh and Josh seems to carry a bit more corner speed, mainly due to bit bit more aggressive and better line.

Car seems very planted, youve really got it perfect now 8)

What tyres in the dry, mediums?

Josh has a really aggressive turn in style in the dry, cant believe he was doing that in the wet as the car was super smooth, so really impressive being able to change styles wet to dry (not just moderate one).
Nice one Josh :-)

Yes agreed that I tend to turn in too early...I was surprised how similar our lines were TBH; its amazing what a small difference can make to your final time :!:

We actually stayed on soft's front and back...too lazy to change to mediums. The fronts are a bit chewed up now; but should be OK for the hills and should last the season at least
