I think this has always been the system.

I suspect some have paid the £5 previously in error and some have just told the gate that they are testing and quoted the info above.

Probably a loose end that needs to be tidied up within the club.

There really ought to be a way of identifying "booked testers" to those on the gate, so the gatekeepers can tell the difference between them, and "others"

(Same comment applies to anyone else who is entitled to free entry, like rescue operatives, etc...)

As Steve says, it has come up in the past.

I used to bank on the race car on my trailer to give the game away

Guys,

Just to confirm arrangements.

we will set up timing about 830 Fri, and after a driver briefing should be running by 930. We will plan to break about 1230 and then run from 130 to 430,

Sat we will try to get running a bit earlier, say by 9 and will need to finish about 12.

We will do a few single laps and then do the cross over course as per the Sunday Sprint.

Planning a pre-test day BBQ on Thursday evening if anyone fancies joining us. Lukeyboy is bringing a BBQ and us the coals. Just bring your chosen food and drink. Oh and a plate :)

Steve,
Just got back yesterday from 'Oop North' visitin the Outlaws. Thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ on Thursday evening and even more so the Trackdays Fri/sat. Thanks to josh for the 'lift' aound the track in the 5a - very interesting and so so different the the pointy things. Already planning next year !!!
Regards,
Viv & Family

ps. Ben was getting quite competative in his runs to ensure victory over the old man however I snuck a sneaky run on him and drove Corky's mean m/c and got a 68.22 and so won this encounter (no arguments there then !!!) HaHa.

It would've been embarrassing if you couldn't have gone quicker in that

Now get your finger out and build that racer

Corky,
I thought that wasn't too bad in a car with minimal brakes (sorry, no Servo so using some unfamiliar muscles !), big fat tyres and a firkin brilliant engine for an old man attempting awkward manoeuvres under stress and being extremely careful not to get wedged on the molehill !!!
Anyways thoroughly appreciated and have already started (at Curbs of course !).
Regards,
Viv
