I saw the trike but didn't notice the missing hand. I think there's some video of it on YouTube, I'll see if I can find it.

If you thought that was "crazy" (or maybe just quick?) take a look at:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4snkUUolJ0

- from around 0.27 onwards. If you look closely you can see the rear wheel spinning up (spinning faster than the front) to line the bike up for the exit with maximum drive as it stands up out of the corner. Both wheels are sliding & you can see the front turning out.

And if you liked that here's another. Same rider:

some of my Loton video. Unedited and filmed in 'hi-quarrity, Shakey-vision' that Blair witch Project would be proud of, but captures the valiant Scim Compies in all their glory :-)

Nor you Steve ;-)

yours does seem to scream, like a slipping alternator belt or boost leak? More pronounced on video than in the flesh

  Fair enough

Yes it does scream. Always has even when Steve had it I think (Can you confirm Mr C)

Could be the alternator belt as it squeaks sometimes from cold but I always assumed that it was the turbo (the squeal kicks in on boost)

does sound like a high pressure boost leak, maybe blowing between the layers of the steel gaskets? Nip up with spanners?

There is a blow on the horizontal joint of the elbow but to my knowledge that has only just started and I'm sure it screamed before that. I ran it like that at Ty Croes and I won't be messing before Friday; just my luck to snap a stud

The turbo got a bit high pitched on overboost, just before it went bang

After refurb it was a lot quieter but still high pitched on over boost. I dare say it's spinning at horrendous (supersonic ?) speed with 12psi (I think Steve's running it at ?).

I've never heard it outside the car though, so can't really comment on what you heard Craig.
