Jag mirror mounts

Post by peter freeman » Tue Jul 16, 2019 3:22 pm

I have a pair of Jag mirrors for my MB - and will fit the "normal" mirrors to our Coupe when they have been re-cond. However the door mounts that came with the mirrors are flat and I need something more like the normal mounts to square the mirror on the door. On Ebay there are mirrors for sale from Lithuania which look as though they have the mounts I need so I have asked them if they can supply me with a pair but does anyone know where I can get them in the UK.

Jag mirror mounts

Speaking from GTC experience the ones you need are XJS 'pre-facelift' mirrors but: I don't know if MB doors are the same as GTC and it's a real pain to separate bases from bodies without the proper tool.
Alex.

I used the standard mounts and xjs bracket to mount mine. I did have to drill holes higher up.

I don't really want to change the mounting points if I can help it -found this type but don't know where they come from - this mirror was for sale in Lithuania and I have mailed them to see if they can help me.

Do you mean from the original mirrors - No but the base covers one of he original holes and the other can be used for the jag mirror
