Rear axle differential seal gasket

Never had a problem with Loctite instant gasket with anything I've used it on. I'm sure other main brands will work. Better gap filling than a paper gasket.
Use nothing else but on engine sumps. Solvent cleaned surfaces. Not a wipe with an oily rag !

I've now got my gasket and Hylomar on order, so just got to summon up some enthusiasm now to actually do the job! It must be at least 28 years since I did any sort of oil change ... :oops:

My thanks to all who have contributed to this thread, as always I've learned a lot and hopefully saved some cash into the bargain. I really appreciate you all sharing your views. :clap:
