Fusebox

Post by simmit » Fri Jun 23, 2017 11:07 pm

MB50 lost all instruments which turned out to poor fuse connection. Has anyone else had issues with the fusebox? Would it be wise change the old style box (glass fuses) for modern blade type? Don't want fire.

Take the fuses out and clean the blades that hold the fuses, it makes a massive difference.
However I have a couple of blade type fuses that I am looking at the best one to fit.

Geoff Cooper made some conversion fuseboxes and I have one available if needed. I have gone with a different solution so surplus to requirements. It is fully built with six inch tails prewired. You will need to enlarge the hole in the kickboard to take it though.

There is no point trying to teach a pig to sing. It doesn't work and it annoys the pig.
