I thought it would be interesting to post period pictures of Scimitars.

No mention of a certain blue GTE in the Channel 4 film 'The Real Princess Anne'

So thats who's it was! It is shown (briefly) on a Fleetwood Mac documentary I saw recently - think its when they moved to a house in the middle of nowhere to record Rumours?

Yes that's the one phil, I cant remember when it was filmed, which would give a better indication of which model it is, also being black and white film and so short a clip is also not much help.

The earliest photos I've found of my Sabre 6 so far date from 1969 when the car was owned by Ken Marsh, Service Manager for Goodyear Tyres. In those days the car was maroon and registered BRP 187B (now it's 232 GUE), and the following three snaps were taken at the Midland Motorists Enthusiasts Club (MMEC) display at Dorridge near Solihul. Sorry about the blue cast to the pics:
